I come from a family of antiquers, auctioneers, and a rare feral lone wolf who was known for never leaving her 50-acre parcel in the Appalachians, where she liked to smoke pipe on her porch.
It’s in my nature to be a vulture, utilizing what is around me, while paying homage and finding closeness through historical artifacts.
Long Story Short: Everywhere.
Hidden secret invite-only estate saler and antiquer groups, through trained AI to show me exactly the types of finds I’m always hunting for, random road trips, friends, elders.. to be frank: I never know myself, and that’s what is beautiful about it.

Sure — though, as any Lone Wolf, my privacy is of utmost importance. I have a couple of options for locals on where you can find me throughout the week. Otherwise, feel free to reach out after you place an order, and we can arrange a pickup.

DO NOT store your Sheeper in an airtight container. This will cause it to collect moisture and damage it.
Store it in a place with air flow.
Just like anything in life, don’t forget to take that baby outside and shake her out every once in a while. You can let your sheepskin air a little bit in the sun, but don’t leave it in direct sunlight for long periods of time.
-
Use a pet brush to fluff your sheepskin back into shape gently. Use a wide, gentle tooth to keep the fiber intact. Metal fine teeth will disrupt the fiber structure and change the hide’s appearance. After brushing, shake it out to bring back some of its natural structure.

You can put your freshly adopted bark-tanned Sheeper in the washing machine on a gentle cycle with cold water and a wool-friendly detergent.
WARNING: All wool can felt in the washing machine.
When washing wool from long wool or fine wool breeds, be prepared to almost always see felting. Hand wash those sheepers in a tub or large basin. When wetting the wool, remember to brush or rub the fiber in one direction. Do not rub back and forth; felting will occur.
Never put a sheepskin in the tumble dryer. Air dry on a line and gently stretch the sheepskin over a surface like a wooden porch railing as it dries.

I work with small, often women run and operated, often ferally operated, some from back home in the midwest, some local to offer skins in a co-op type of fashion. You’ll find specific Tannery info on each product listing.
As a hobby hustling enthusiast I strive to create a network of feral goods to offer my community, wherever you may be.
I work with local farms to tan in my own free time, offer wool supplies, and vulture culture finds I process myself.
A majority of my work I tend to hang onto myself, but as any hoarder does, I may clear out my personal stash from time to time.
